Got a Brother ScanNCut machine and not sure how to use it? No problem!

These ScanNCut tutorials for beginners will take you through all the steps to start making beautiful papercraft projects with your machine.

The ScanNCut help guides on this page currently come in video format only. My team and I are in the process of creating additional written versions and hope to have them finished by the end of April 2025.

If you’re looking for specific crafts to make rather than general machine and CanvasWorkspace tutorials, check out this huge collection of project ideas instead. The tutorials for each project are shown using a Cricut, but they can all be made with ScanNCut machines too.

My team and I are working hard to revisit all our old SVGs to create new versions that are easier to cut with ScanNCut machines.

With around 1,500 older designs to work through, we are expecting to complete this legacy work by the end of 2025.

As of February 2025, we have added ScanNCut versions for most of the free designs and the gnome designs.

Any new designs released from February 2025 onwards will include ScanNCut-optimized versions (look for the “03” and “04” versions within your download folders).
