Pumpkin Pie Slice Layered SVG

Get ready for fall with this pumpkin pie slice layered SVG. I can almost smell the cinnamon now!

This free pumpkin pie cutting file comes in SVG, DXF, PDF and PNG file formats. If you’re using a Cricut machine then you need to upload the SVG version into Design Space.

The layers on the design come together beautifully to create a 3D effect.

Pumpkin pie not to your taste? No worries – cut the pie filling layers in a pale green for apple pie, red/pink for cherry pie or even brown for a lovely chocolaty Mississippi mud pie or slice of chocolate cheesecake – mmm!

How to cut layered pumpkin pie Cricut file

This layered pie slice SVG has seven layers. The bottom two layers are the pastry, then the pie filling has three layers and the swirl of whipped cream on top has two layers.

I used two shades of orange for the middle of the pie filling, and instead of layering each one with foam pads I stuck the top two pie filling layers with glue as I didn’t want my final design to end up too tall.

When you assemble your slice of pie, start with Layer 1 and then build up the layers in numerical order using 3D foam pads or spacers to add depth.

I cut the sample you can see in the pictures at about 10 inches wide.

This is pretty big, so you could certainly make it smaller to probably around 5 inches in width, but I wouldn’t recommend going much smaller as the cuts in the top layer of the pie filling and the gaps in the top layer of the cream will become quite small and difficult for your Cricut to cut.
